To coordinate the efforts of its Catholic medical associations in the study and spread of Christian principles throughout the medical profession; | |
To encourage the development of Catholic medical associations in European countries so that they can assist catholic physicians in their moral and spiritual development and professional advancement; | |
To assist the Church its pastoral work among healthcare workers; | |
To promote the development of health care in underdeveloped countries and deprived areas; | |
To support the study of bioethics; | |
To promote a ‘culture of life’, welcoming and supporting every moment of life, especially when it is weak and vulnerable; | |
To follow the debates of supra-national European organizations in bioethics, professional ethics, healthcare, and to promote the Christian viewpoint when appropriate. |
